ABOUT ME

Hi everyone! I'm Rebecca Spitalnik, a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying journalism on the strategic communications track. I'm also pursuing a digital studies certificate because I wanted to learn more about different forms of media and how media has impacted our society, as it has become so relevant in our everyday lives. Additionally, I think that the skills I have learned from the courses I have taken while pursuing this certificate will help me in a professional setting in the future. I currently serve as the VP of marketing of Mazon UW, and this past summer, I had an influencer marketing internship at a marketing and communications agency. My dream job is marketing at a beauty or fashion company.

Overall, I am a positive individual who always strives to stay optimistic despite challenges and negativity in the world. My drive for success and my ability to remain motivated help me achieve my goals and balance my academic and personal life. Additionally, I have always been outgoing and personable. I love interacting with others and sharing my positivity with them. These traits, coupled with my interest in fashion and beauty, will allow me to succeed in the PR or Marketing division of a clothing or makeup company.
